I'm a qualified and BACP-registered counsellor, trained in working relationally and integratively. What this means is that I work collaboratively with you, drawing on several different modalities, to create the kind of therapeutic relationship that might best support you.
I believe whole-heartedly that you are the expert in yourself, and that by holding a caring and confidential space we can safely explore the struggles you may be facing. I work from a non-judgmental base that values and respects whatever you need to bring, mindful of the world we live in and the impacts this might have at the intersections of our identities. Together, we can work to process whatever may be blocking your way.
Working within the charity sector (elop, The Maypole Project, The Listening Place) and in private practice, I have experience of working with people bringing a broad range of issues to counselling, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, abuse, race, identity, gender and sexuality. Much of my current experience is working with the LGBTQ+ community, which I am also a part of.
I offer online and in-person sessions, and introductory chats for any who are interested in finding out more about working together.
