My practice is grounded in person centred and psychodynamic approaches. I believe in
working collaboratively with people, understanding their needs, and co creating a therapeutic space that feels safe and supportive. From a person centred perspective, I recognise that each person is unique, and I tailor the work to suit each individual’s needs. My psychodynamic training also means I pay close attention to how early life experiences and relationships shape how we view ourselves and connect with others.
I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, cultural identity, and grief, while remaining open to whatever you bring into the space.
Having trained in both Edinburgh and India, my approach has been informed by my diverse background as well. It has informed my ability to work with people from different walks of life and with experiences beyond my own understanding. I value difference and make a conscious effort to understand how you exist in the world. Appreciating diversity has helped me remain genuine and authentic as a practitioner. This has shaped my practice to be more holistic, rather than focusing only on thoughts and the mind, I also tend to the body, heart, soul, and anything you bring into the space.
I have completed a COSCA accredited course and am a COSCA registered practitioner. I am currently working towards full BACP accreditation.
I offer in person sessions on Tuesday evenings and online sessions on Wednesday and
Thursday evenings. I am always open to having a chat and finding the best time and fit, so please feel free to reach out.
